This event first took place in 1938 and after a 74 year hiatus was organized once more in 2012. This annual event brings the local first nations band Sts'ailes to Harrison Lake for war canoe races. The Harrison Dragon Boat Festival takes place the 3rd weekend in July and is one of the major races of the season with up to 70 boats competing. It is an amazing visual spectacle. |

Enjoy the cozy Christmas feeling with Lights by the Lake. This free event features a Christmas light display along the front of the lagoon in Harrison Hot Springs. While Lights by the Lake has been postponed, it is still the most wonderful time of the year. Our Village has lit our quaint lakeside in true Holiday fashion. As you stroll along Harrison's promenade delight in the warm glow of Christmas lights and charming winter window paintings. Each business has decorated has decorated their store front with Holiday cheer. Christmas trees and old fashioned lamps grace the village square.
