No matter your fitness level, Harrison is a beautiful playground
for paddlers. Starting with the family-friendly Miami River, taking kayaks and canoes right through Harrison Village, or the Harrison River to Harrison Lake route.

Go out on your own. Kayak & canoe rentals are available
at Killer's Cove.

Or, take a guided kayaking tour with Harrison Eco Tours.





Accessible only by boat or an 8-hour trip by kayak.
Pack a picnic lunch and marvel at Rainbow Falls.


4-5 hour paddle, viewing The First Nation's petroglyphs, burial sites, and the historic "Bubble and Squeak" sunken steamship.
Abundant wildlife and scenic beauty.


Come with a friend and bring two cars. Leave one in Harrison Mills, at either Kilby Historic Site or Sandpiper Resort, and take the other to Harrison Hot Springs. Gorgeous year-round.


Touches on four lakes, two of which -- Deer and Hicks -- are
best to explore in small boats. (Electric motors are
meant for Deer Lake and 10 hp is the maximum permitted
speed on Hicks.) Paddle to the isolated Sandy Beach at
Hick's south end.

May 12th: Celebrate at  Kilby Historic Site where kids can make a special craft and enjoy a featured menu at the cafe.
May 12th: Harrison Resort's legendary Copper Room is hosting brunch. Call the Copper Room for advance reservations at 604.796.4741.
May 12th: Riverside-style, enjoy Mother's Day Brunch and a Mimosa Bar at Sandpiper Resort. Call 604.796.1000 to make a reservation.
End the day at the public hot springs pools!

or head to the waterfront Sandpiper Resort's Clubhouse
to grab a burger and brew.

Add in a round of golf or fishing excursion!

Sasquatch Days
Intercultural celebration with canoe races, salmon BBQ,
medicine walks, boat tours, and talks on the Sasquatch
from Sts'ailes experts and local investigators.

July 1st
Canada Day
The Village's vibe gives that small-town feel.
Fun events are planned throughout the day,
ending the night with beautiful fireworks over the lake.

Spring Forward!

It's time to come out of hiding and embrace
all things sunshine and flowers.




Boredom and kids just don't mix. We have a bunch of ideas to keep everyone entertained starting with our soothing hot springs pools. Get a trail walk in, head down to the Village and explore our restaurants, shops and art gallery, see the Sasquatch Museum located at the Visitor Centre, enjoy a boating adventure with Shoreline Tours or Harrison Eco Tours, and explore our Circle Farm stops. (Please check each Circle Farm Tour partner's website for opening dates.)


Tour a wonderful mix of things to see, do, smell, and taste! 

Farmhouse Natural Cheeses: farm-fresh artisan cheeses and specialties made right at the farm. Kids can see and pet the sweet animals, too!

Back Porch Coffee Roastery:  See the pottery & basketry studio, watch coffee being roasted in a circa 1919 Flame Roaster, head to the barn for antiques, collectibles and décor items.

Kilby Historic Site: Experience a 1920's living historic site with costumed interpreters including a 1906 General Store Museum, Manchester House and Hotel, and Post Office. Pet animals and enjoy activities!

Country Road Ride - A 26-km ride, taking you from Harrison Hot Springs to the Agassiz farmlands as you bike by farms, corn fields, hazelnut orchards, cows, sheep, and, even, the odd donkey.

Easter Luncheon at Kilby - Hop down to Kilby Historic Site from April 20th and 21st! Menu features traditional Roast Turkey Dinner, complete with all the trimmings, veggies, beverage, and dessert.  Due to this event's popularity, reservations are recommended.

Harrison Uncorked Wine Festival is on April 27th from 12 - 5 pm. Guests will enjoy an afternoon wine-tasting and farm-to-table small bites provided by Muddy Water's Café! While individual tasting tickets are sold out, participating hotel partners --Harrison Hot Springs Resort, Harrison Lake Hotel, and Bramblebank Cottages--are offering accommodation and Uncorked packages!

For a more intimate experience, join one of our winemaker dinners on April 26th and 27th.

A new year is upon us! The start of a cycle brings refreshed energy. Perhaps you've decided to pursue a passion project, focus on your health, take more quality 'me' time, or spend time outdoors.
We have a few ideas to help kickstart 2019!

                      Harrison's Healing Nature Will Renew and Refresh

REJUVENATE: Take a forest or cultural walk.

Spirit Trail: A short easy 20-minute, marked by clay masks.
Spirit Trail Loop: A moderate 2-hour walk through Lower Bear Mountain consisting of forest, wetlands, cliffs. This closed loop is home to a wide variety of wildlife.
Heritage Walk: An easy 90-minute walk. Learn about Harrison's history as you explore historical buildings and landmarks. Download our map. Be sure to stop by the Sasquatch Museum and learn about the footprint of this mythical creature!

LAKESIDE TIME: Sit in silence

Grab your favourite warm beverage and take in the calming views of Harrison Lake and its surrounding mountains.

BALANCE: Adventure and Relaxation

Get your family ready for a fun day-trip! Grab your skis or snowboard and head to Sasquatch Mountain Resort or take a (covered) jetted boat tour with Harrison Eco Tours, ending the day with a hot springs soak or dinner at one of our awesome restaurants like Milos Greek Taverna and Black Forest, complete with heated, covered patios.



Harrison Happenings

Family Day is on Monday, February 18th but we are celebrating on February 16th! Please save the date. We will be announcing Harrison's Family Fun Day details very soon!

Lights on the Lake is almost over! Make sure to come down before January 28th.

The Christmas Tree Trail ends on January 13th.

December Happenings

Lights on the Lake from November 24th - January 28th is our first Lights on the Lake event. 7 days a week from dusk until 11:00 pm.

Christmas at Kilby Historic Site on December 8th & 9th.  Roast Turkey Dinner and all the trimmings for lunch!

CPR Holiday Train on December 17th at 5:05 pm. Supporting local food banks across the country, the train stops in Agassiz across from the Agricultural Centre on Pioneer Avenue, West of Highway 9.

Christmas Tree Trail from November 23 to January 13, enjoy this self-guided, 2.5 km tour through Harrison Village.

Wishing Solstice Boat Workshop on December 21, 2018, from 3 - 5 pm. This all-ages workshop shares how to fold an origami paper boat, embellish it, and then sail it out on Harrison Lake. Write down what you want to let go and bring in the positivity of 2019.

Harrison Un-Gala...A Cabin Style New Year's on December 31.
Ring in the New Year with rustic decor, games, canapes,
champagne at midnight, and live music.
