Harrison Lake and River Welcome to a sports fisher's paradise... where you'll find an abundance of trout, salmon, and sturgeon. Harrison Hot Springs is situated on the largest freshwater lake in southwestern BC, truly a fishing dream come true! The beautiful surroundings, glistening rivers and lakes, and majestic wildlife attract anglers from around the globe. The Harrison and Fraser River is the main route for thousands of migrating salmon and today's dinosaurs -- the white sturgeon -- which can grow up to 1,000 lbs and live up to 200 years old! Fish as big as us are regular occurrences! BC Sport Fishing Group (BCSFG) tags and records the length and location of all sturgeon, working in partnership with the Fraser River Sturgeon Conservation Society's monitoring and assessment program. Awesome for educating the next generation of anglers! Feeding into the Harrison River, the salmon migration is truly a sight to see. In fact, a festival celebrates the eagles and salmon every year. We have a unique adventure to offer for everyone! Or, as we like to say, Go Fish! |
