Christmas in Harrison

                                                                                                                                          November 1, 2018

Lights On the Lake

Have you saved the date?! November 24th marks our first Lights on the Lake event! Unlike other festivals painted with traditional Christmas scenes, Lights on the Lake is a Sasquatch-themed light display, sharing Harrison’s favourite ways to spend time outdoors.

Watch for Sasquatch hiking, biking, paddling, skiing, fishing, camping, windsurfing, and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.  Phases 2 and 3 will be revealed in the next two years.

Illuminated streets, painted storefront windows, Christmas trees lining the plaza, and Sasquatch Christmas storytelling at, nearby, Harrison Lake Hotel will have everyone loving the Christmas feels.

Date: November 24, 2018 to January 28, 2019
Time: Seven days a week from dusk until 11:00 pm
Location: Harrison Lakefront
Cost: FREE

Cozy Christmas Walks

Taking place from November 23 to January 13, The Christmas Tree Trail -- a self-guided, 2.5 km tour -- takes visitors through  Harrison Village.

Enjoy seasonal favourites at coffee shops and bistros, and discover unique Christmas gifts at our boutique shops. During the four weeks leading up to Christmas, we are also awarding weekly giveaways!

Pick-up your guide at the Harrison Visitor Information Centre and Sasquatch Museum.

Winter Eagles Gather

On November 17th and 18th, the Fraser Valley Bald Eagle Festival celebrates its 23rd season of the eagles and salmon.  Located only 15 minutes away, Harrison Mills is home to the world's largest winter eagle gathering.

We invite everyone to witness this spectacular phenomenon. Choose from a variety of accommodation partners and drive to nearby prime viewing spots, such as Kilby Historic Site and Sandpiper Resort. Better yet! Take an eagle viewing boat tour with Harrison Eco Tours. The eagles leave in early January.
