Our Countryside

The Harrison River Valley is an excellent location for re-connecting with simpler times.  Experience our countryside and enjoy a wonderful gift to the senses of things to see, do, smell and taste.

The Fraser Valley Circle Farm Tour is a great way to get in touch with local food.  A celebration of past and present, this tour is a rich mix of wonderful things to see, do, smell, and taste! For more info visit the Circle Farm Tour.

The countryside also offers some wonderful events.

Various events take place from Easter till December at the Kilby Historic Site. Preserving life from the 1920s and ’30s in a General Store built-in 1905. In 2021, the Agassiz Harrison Museum will be celebrating its 35th year. Join them and explore the history of the families that made Harrison and Agassiz home. Located in an old CPR train station. Find more information at www.agassizharrisonmuseum.org.

One of our favourite events of the summer season is the Agassiz Farms Cycle Tour which is held in July. This incredible event takes bicycle riders on a 25k circuit of the countryside past some of the finest farms in the Valley.  More info can be found at www.agassizfarmscycletour.com.
